Chili's

On leave today! I will normally use my leave for holiday trips, but I've quite a lot of leave to clear before yr end, hence decided to take the day off & enjoy the long weekend :) Since it's a no-work day, here I am typing at my laptop at 2am while Leecher is already sound asleep, haha! National Day was spent working on Swirl with the partners, discussion and preparing for the various launches. It still feel quite surreal to witness the pieces coming together :) Hope we can keep the fighting spirits high! Quick post before I head off to bed - dinner @ Chili's

Chili's first ventured into our shores way back in late 2009 (I think), opening its first outlet in Tanglin Mall, followed by Resorts World Sentosa. I was no stranger to Chili's, having tried out this Grill & Bar when we visited KL, under Fling's recommendation. I googled for Chili's menu online & got to know that they do provide catering & delivery now! So, you can now enjoy their specialty ribs and other items with a click of the mouse, how convenient :)

We went to Chili's @ Tanglin Mall and it was very crowded on a Friday night. Thankfully, Kenneth dear was there early (for once!) and managed to get us seats :)

Early birds have the privileges of ordering and eating first :)

Classic nachos - with beans, queso and a hint of seasoned beef, cheese and jalapenos on every chip. Served with pico de gallo and sour cream.

Bonless buffalo wings, served with cool blue cheese dressing. Tasty even when eating on its own.

We couldn't get enough of their boneless buffalo wings, so we ordered wings over buffalo for 2nd round.

Another platter to share, Triple Play - which is a combination of 3 hot-selling items - Chicken Crispers, Boneless Buffalo Wings and Southwestern Eggrolls with sauces for dipping. Think we had an overdose of buffalo wings by now.

Another starter dish - Big Mouth Bites, which consisted of 4 savoury mini fresh beef burgers, made with choice ground steak, topped with applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, sauteed onions and jalapeno ranch dressing. We ordered this for it was on promotion, and only to realise thereafter it wasn't that fantastic.

Grilled Baby Back Ribs, smoked in-house over mesquite wood and grilled to order.

Mushroom Jack - juicy marinated grilled chicken smothered with Jack Cheese, applewood smoked bacon and fresh sauteed mushrooms.

Don't the cups look lovely when filled up with drink? For a second, I thought I was transported to the beach and sipping this drink while enjoying the waves.

We ordered another jug of margarita, in strawberry flavour and I must say they are indeed refreshing!
