L'etoile Cafe

I'm sure you all can guess from the title - that we've visited another cafe recently :) Another one to be ticked off from the list that I've penned. This time round, we went cafe-hunting with SC & Fling after Swirl's photoshoot.

On a related note, there are various promotion on Swirl now :) Like & Share any of our Xmas album(s) / outfit(s) on FB and stand to win $15 Swirl's vouchers. In addition to that, we are giving away gifts for Xmas with every order received. Hop onto Swirl now to start your shopping!

Anyway, back to our cafe adventure.

Photoshoot took longer than usual, so we were hungry by the time we left our place.

Headed down to Owen Road.

L'etoile Cafe is a lifestyle shop with Jap-French influences. L'Etoile, means "the star" in french. They don't take in reservations for night, so we just walked in. We headed up to the 2nd floor, where you will be greeted with an eclectic interior. We couldn't find a cozy area, so we headed downstairs again, for alfresco dining.

Handwritten menus with cutesy drawings :)

The guys went for latte ... while I took the biscuit. SC was taking pics of his latte (which I had no clue for he did looked like he was reading something on his phone) & I just took his biscuit and popped into my mouth. He looked at me in shock while I looked at him innocently .... clueless as what I have just did till the rest pointed it out, haha! Opps.

Ribena soda for the girls.

Truffle fries & chicken wings as starters. On the menu - it read "Chicken Wings - great with beer, all time favourites" So we ordered a plate, thinking that it will be either grilled or fried, but came otherwise. We all prefer Truffle fries over wings, for sure.

4 different mains. I was extremely disappointed with my eggs Benedict, for it was on their favourites' list. I only finished 1 portion, for it was too much for me to bear. Leecher's order of Chicken Ballotine was way better than mine, but he don't want to switch with me *meanie!* Fling & SC ordered bangers and mash, and Vietnamese glass noodles (with lots of bean sprouts, for those were Fling's fave!)

With SC & Fling - many thanks to SC for always helping out, and being the subject on my teasing, haha! One of the rare nice guys that I always "bully".

Greedy Leecher with his food.

Had to tear him away from his food to take pics ... see, he still have his fork & knife in his hands.

Ended the night with desserts - chocolate lava cake with chocolate ice cream. Sinful, but yummy!

一转眼,我们也认识了10年. Friendship is such an amazing thing.

Another time back? Maybe not.
