Japan Day 14 P3

As Blamer and I were walking towards the castle-liked structure on the left of S.S Columbia, we chanced upon a mini parade.

With the main cast all decked out in winter wears. But they were gone in a flash, we didnt even get the chance to take more pics. Looked like it was more of "changing shift" rather than a parade.

Another gigantic Christmas tree,w hich we had to queue up while a Disney staff member took pics for everyone. At first we thought this was one of those designated photo point, where in HongKong, they would station someone there to take photos. Since we were the last in queue, imagine our surprise when after giving our thanks to the staff, he actually went to a corner to pick up his broomstick and dustpan!

Here, Blamer was trying to take a photo IN the fountain without getting herself wet.

Resting our tired legs, we went for a ride on the electric railway located at the American Waterfront. This nostalgic train functions as a round-trip tour around the resort, bringing the beautiful scenery of Tokyo Disney Sea right before your eyes.

While on the railway. we spotted this interesting bumper-car-like facility, just that it is on water.

To my disappointment, we do not actually have control of the boat. On closer inspection, the boat is moving on designated trails.

Next we went back to the American Waterfront to queue for the tickets for the Big Band Beat. An exciting jazz revue with energetic tap dancing to the sounds of a live big band. There's also a drum solo by Mickey which is not to be missed.

So far, Blamer and I wasn't really thrilled by the rides and Disney Sea, however, as we got closer to this castle-like structure, we heard hoards of screams and shrieks! Is this the ride that we have been waiting for???

Japan Day 14 P2

The ride which Leecher spotted was Raging Spirits, located in Lost River Delta, just beside Indiana Jones. Lost River Delta features the ruins of a mysterious pyramid rise above the Central American jungle on the shores of El Rio Perdido, the "Lost River" during the 1930s.
A new adventure awaits for us as this roller coaster attraction takes everyone on a high-speed ride through the ruins of an ancient ceremonial site.

The spine-tingling 360-degree loop, the key selling point of this ride.

Post-ride feelings: The ride was smooth, nothing scary. I was able open my eyes throughout the ride to take in the scenery without feeling nervous. The 360-degree loop? Small case, you don't even feel anything at all.

We followed the footsteps of Dr Indiana Jones in a harrowing, life-or-death quest for the legendary Fountain of Youth om a high speed adventure aboard modified military transport vehicles.

As we walked on, we saw hand-painted Disney characters on the floor! Everyone was surprised to see it & were rushing to take pictures before the water dries up.

Mrs Incredible came along & being a huge Pixar fan, I just had to take pictures with her!

"Hey you! *flexing his muscles* Why you never take pictures with me?" yells Mr Incredible.

As it was the Xmas season, you will get to have a meet & greet & picture-taking with Santa and Duffy. Created originally for the Walt Disney Resort as "The Disney Bear", he's now known as Duffy at the Tokyo Resort. Duffy is a bear of magic and great luck, spreading happiness and smiles throughout Tokyo Disneysea. Duffy has evolved into sort of a cultural phenomenon there, almost as famous as Mickey himself!

Japan Day 14 P1

Day 14 in Japan started bright and early! Can you recognise our background?

Yes! We are back for more Disneyland!! But first, a visit to Ikspiari, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex, for our breakfast. Blamer mandated we start the day early, so that she can exercise her Kiasu-ism to conquer as many attractions as possible.

We were so early that I'm the only one queuing up. Although burger and fries were a tad too heavy for breakfast.

We proceed next to the Gateway station to purchase our tickets to Disneysea!

Christmas mood in the air, even though it was only November.

Disneyland coming into view. However, today we would be traveling further than into the resort.

How I wish Singapore has such land luxury as well, maybe then owning cars wouldn't be so expensive.

A different atmosphere here, sort of more mature theme. No Mickey Mouse in sight yet.

DisneySea is divided into 7 areas, namely Port Discovery, Lost River Delta, Arabian Coast, Mermaid Lagoon, American Waterfront, Mediterranean Harbor and Mysterious Island. Our first stop would be the Mysterious Island right behind us.

Journey to the Center of the Earth, a most thrilling ride which could reach a top speed of 75km/hr as you twist and turn through mysterious caverns to the earth's core.

Intrigued by the name of the ride, it was interesting how they create the feeling that you were really diving under the sea in a mini submarine.

As we were heading towards the next destination, look who we bumped into.

But a lecherous character came along... ...

Molest molest!!!

Blamer seemed to be won over... ... and Dale... he actually refused to take a pic with me after learning I'm the boyfriend. I thought this was supposed to be a family-oriented destination?

Need to approach policeman Goofy to help me get rid of the wife-snatcher.

We rushed our asses off to obtain this pair of passes to Indiana Jones Adventure ride. However, to my amazement, the pass was only for a much later timing.

But no worries, I spotted another attention-grabbing ride in the distance... ... Let's go!
